ALICE IN CHAINS Unveils 'Acid Bubble' Interactive Music Video

ALICE IN CHAINS has introduced an interactive music video experience for the band's song "Acid Bubble". Produced by Spy Films, director Nick Goso created an interactive space where users manipulate their perspective and experience 360-degree environments. Check it out now at this location. ALICE IN CHAINS kicked off the BlackDiamondSkye tour on Thursday (September 16) in Chicago with DEFTONES and MASTODON, and the band has a surprise planned for its fans. At each stop on the tour, an envelope will be hidden at the venue. Whoever opens it will find each band's autographed set list for that night, along with a VIP laminate featuring a secret code.

The code will enter the laminate into a drawing to win a custom Gibson guitar signed by all the members of the tour valued at more than $2,000, along with a Marshall amplifier half-stack valued at $2,050. A total of only 19 people — one from each gig — will be entered into the contest.

As for the musical portion of the tour itself, ALICE IN CHAINS singer William DuVall told The Pulse of Radio that he expects both the fans and the bands to enjoy themselves. "One of the things that's great about this tour is that every band kind of has their own style, their own flavor, but the bill somehow meshes very well," he said. "The sense of event around this obviously makes it very special. It's just gonna be a good time all the way around. Really, we can't think of a better way to kind of cap this round of touring."

The tour is named after each of the three bands' latest albums — ALICE IN CHAINS' "Black Gives Way To Blue", DEFTONES' "Diamond Eyes" and MASTODON's "Crack The Skye".

DuVall said in a recent interview that ALICE IN CHAINS will likely record a follow-up to "Black Gives Way To Blue", which was the group's first full-length studio effort in 14 years.

DuVall joined ALICE IN CHAINS in 2006 when the band started touring again for the first time in 10 years. Original vocalist Layne Staley died in 2002.
